Pair Antique Carl Teichert Meissen Porcelain Blue Onion Candlesticks Wilhelm Schiller Shoulders: 18” across the epauletsThis is a pair of candlesticks made by Carl Teichert of Meissen, Germany in the Blue Onion pattern. Teichert established his factory in 1863 as a tile producer he died in 1871 but the manufactory continued and the Blue Onion pattern was produced by them up until 1930. Teichert should not be confused with the Royal Manufactory located in Meissen. Each is stamped simply with Meissen. I believe that this is an early Teichert mark as the mark normally
